Tights stretched between her ankles. Panties between her knees. She remains bent over the chair back, waiting for me to finish what I’ve started. I pour a glass of wine. I’m sweating. Almost out the door  for a drink and dancing, now we do it at home. I didn’t want to go out anyway. Neither did she.

This sounds like a good time. The wine is a nice touch. But this: //Do I really have another 66 erotic haiku to write?// Yes, please! But I have to ask…why did you set out to write the daily poems? I’d like to know the backstory :-)

    • I don’t know. :) Guess that’s just the way I am. I like to have a goal, otherwise I feel like I’m wasting my life. I don’t like open-ended projects. If I have a goal, an endpoint, I can say: See? I’m not just decadently writing prurient literature, I have an identifiable artistic goal. I want to complete a year’s cycle of erotic haiku in a single year. Who else has done that? I’m the first. Ever. There’s no other writer in the history of humankind who’s done this. Me. Kind of super cool when you really think about it. Hopefully, if my works are ever properly published, they’ll be banned in any number of countries. Nothing would please me more. All the best writers have been banned at one time or another, haven’t they? Or at least many of them.

Edit: The implication, of course, being that if I’m banned I’m therefore, ipso facto, a great writer. Ha! A life of delusional grandeur is the only life worth living.

Yes it is super cool :) And I am but one of many fans who thinks you’re a great writer. Banned or not, after you’ve *properly* published your work, we can all say “I read Will Crimson before he was famous.”
