Emergent (Poetry)

These bits all came out, pretty independently, on Microlensing over the last week or so. I realize they actually kind of do string together into a slightly larger whole, appropriate for here. Since they weren’t originally intended to be part of a single work, I do think there is a jar here and there between them, but for all that… –M

Emergent beauty;
hips flaring from corset
begging for my grip.

Cockhead nuzzling cunt
so beautiful, so obscene
that intimate kiss.

Your wet, open folds
I slip inside so easy
an invited guest.

Bodies so close
occupy the same space
anastomosed.

Bite you as I come
teeth and cock both sunk
pour in and drink out
an even exchange
your red for my white.

Vulpine clever
canine loyal, lupine fierce
call me your bitch.

In some ways, two other senryu from this week seem to be the relationship I’m having with mostly absent muses:

1
Don’t hug me too tight
the spines just under my skin
will pierce me, then you.

2
We pass by again
one to sleep, one to waking
my fingers graze yours.

  1. Monocle,
    I enjoyed this. :D
Especially when you use words in ways I haven’t seen before. (anastomosed)
Learning a new word in another language is also good. (senryu)

    1. Thanks, Paul. It’s at different times a strength and a weakness to want to use so many two-dollar words.

    1. Thank you, very much. Yeah. I was recently reading about the mating habits of some sharks. The description applies to them, though that piece didn’t come from that knowledge.

  2. #1 touched me most.

There’s that fear of being exposed, but in the end, the person who wants to expose you must pay somehow for wanting the more secret, less pretty parts of you…

A little payment in blood, I suppose…a small sacrifice to finally get his hands on the ‘holy grail’.
