Some of my filthiest filth gets though up in the shower. Maybe it’s my mid rebelling against all the soap. I’ve incorporated a few ‘showerpoems’ – mostly senryu, but the odd choka and other poetic bric-a-brac into previous collections posted here. Since I’ve amassed ten more of them, I thought I’d present them here. Senryu/haiku are ideal size for shower composition, since it’s relatively easy to compose and keep 5-7-5 syllables in your head until you can get to a keyboard. The chokas (5-7-5-7-7) are about as much as I can manage in the shower. Anything longer is, for me, pretty impossible to keep both coherent and in memory. The following are posted in chronological order of creation (a period of about 6 weeks) and not intentionally related thematically other than their origin. –M
Showerpoetry
Dreaming serpentine
waking to you wrapped ’round me
hissing in my hear
~~~
When all I have is
stammers, stutters, loss for words
you tell me “I know”
it’s simplicity itself
it makes all the difference
~~~
“Fucking Monday!”
used to be a curse
now, it’s a plan.
~~~
Thinking filthy thoughts
but composition deserts
when the door opens
and she joins me in the spray
showerpoetry failure
~~~
“Hi, Honey, I’m home!”
Lipstick ’round base of my cock.
Best welcome ever.
~~~
This time, I woke up tied.
You looked eager, triumphant
scared out of your mind.
~~~
Dawn’s light impinging
I burrow under covers
back into your night.
~~~
I come into you
and feel you press back to me;
the joy escapes words.
~~~
Tongue line, neck to cunt
pause at your bellybutton
distraction; practice.
~~~
Water cascading
over your turned-up face
as you drink me down.
~~~
Bare leg emerging
from beneath bedcovers
attracts like magnet.

This one made me laugh and brought back memories of the first time I experimented with rope play. I especially liked the line “scared out of your mind.” So true, so very true.

This got a damn good laugh outta me, I can see how this may cheer up a few people on a bad Monday :)
“Fucking Monday!”
used to be a curse
now, it’s a plan.
And this one was the most mentally stimulating on a play with the direction and flow of liquids. :)

Lovely snippets, many thanks ^^
