Senryū ~ Brazen Coffee, Fearful Angel, Solace

Brazen Coffee

“I owe you,” I said.
Not batting an eye, she said:
“Talk dirty to me.”

Flowers, chocolate,
and a good hard fuck. Who says
romance is dead?

Not washing my face
keep your taste on me all day
lick my lips often.

Summoned from deep sleep,
you astride, coaxing grinning,
I explode awake

Brazen coffee
brewing naked with my cream
running down your leg

Fearful Angel

The little devil
and angel on my shoulders
agree about you.

Your face in passion
is the only thing I find
worth seeing these days.

Knees parted
tied tightly for me
you glisten.

What you call taboo,
where the angels fear to tread,
I call my roadmap.

Fingers inside
sliding in the poetry
of your flood.

The cries you give me
take me where I want to go:
The heaven I made.

Solace

When words sometimes fail
I take solace in knowing
you know me so well.

Senses, not sense, rule.
I am lured with one sound
captured with one touch.

High in the night sky
I bid you look at the moon
while I kiss your neck.

Sun breaking over
the curve of your hip
as I orbit you

Close your eyes
and imagine
I’m with you.

  1. Love all three poems. Sooooo romantic. *sniff sniff* My favorite stanza (so many to choose from):

    Your face in passion
is the only thing I find
    worth seeing these days.

    Damn good.

    1. Thank you very much, Emma. I never thought these would be so addictive to write. Apparently I have a thing for smut in 5-7-5.

  2. Love these!

“Solace” is achingly beautiful, almost heartbreaking.

“Fearful angel” on the other hand evokes a delicious scenario, very vivid.

But is it just me, or is there a melancholy undercurrent running through both of these?

“Brazen coffee” feels somehow more upbeat…

    1. It’s not just you. There is an element of melancholy in both. But Brazen Coffee is just good clean filth.

  3. So very tender are these words> (Solace)
The truest of love poetry for me id to evoke the hearts call, along with the yearning…splendidly the twain meets.

    XO
